§ 10.17. When provisions take effect.

For the purpose of nominating and electing members of the Council, the provisions of this Charter shall be in effect for the regular municipal election to be held in April, 1963. For all other purposes this Charter shall be in effect from and after its approval by the electors of the City and the entering of an official order upon the records of the City by the governing body declaring the same adopted.
