The "MU-1" Mixed Use District is established to serve as a pedestrian-oriented corridor for retail, office, governmental, cultural, entertainment, and residential uses. The intent of these regulations is to create a mix of land uses in compact patterns that will reduce the dependency on the automobile, improve air quality, and promote high quality, interactive neighborhoods.
